Madeleine Doggy Treats

Make Way For Madeleine Doggy Treats

Kiwi and Emmi (Pug) LOVE these DOGGIE PEANUT BUTTER TREATS. All good doggies deserve homemade puppy cookies just because, and for being our perfect, loyal friends. These treats are very easy to make and your special pooches will be ready to gobble them up. They are tail wagging good!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Spray 2 mini-madeleine pans with baking spray, set aside
Yield: about 80 mini-doggie madeleine treats

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/3 cup uncooked rolled oats
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 cup skim milk or whole milk
1 TBS. molasses
3/4 cup creamy, unsalted peanut butter
1/4 cup chicken broth

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Stir well to blend thoroughly. Batter will be thick. Use a small scoop or pinch off 1/2 teaspoon of batter and place into the prepared mini-shells.

Press down into the shells with your fingers.

Bake about 20 minutes. Lower oven to 275 degrees and bake another 20 minutes. Turn off oven and leave in for 20-30 minutes to dry out the Madeleines.

Rolling the batter into small balls and pressed onto a lightly greased cookie sheet is another method to bake off the batter for your best friends.
