OATMEAL PEANUT BUTTER DOGGIE TREATS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Spray 2 mini-madeleine pans with baking spray, set aside
Yield: about 80 mini-doggie madeleine treats
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/3 cup uncooked rolled oats
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 cup skim milk or whole milk
1 TBS. molasses
3/4 cup creamy, unsalted peanut butter
1/4 cup chicken broth
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Stir well to blend thoroughly. Batter will be thick. Use a small scoop or pinch off 1/2 teaspoon of batter and place into the prepared mini-shells.
Press down into the shells with your fingers.
Bake about 20 minutes. Lower oven to 275 degrees and bake another 20 minutes. Turn off oven and leave in for 20-30 minutes to dry out the Madeleines.
Rolling the batter into small balls and pressed onto a lightly greased cookie sheet is another method to bake off the batter for your best friends.
